If the card says it cannot be used in Nigeria
Google Play gift cards are country restricted. Google states that the country or region of the Play account must match where the gift card is offered, and the account’s currency must match the card. Being physically in Nigeria while holding a US, UK, or other foreign card does not create a supported Nigerian redemption route.
Do not use a VPN, borrowed identity, or false payment profile to bypass the restriction. That can trigger additional account checks and may violate Google’s terms. If the card was sold as usable on your account, return to the retailer or seller with the written description and receipt. If you plan to sell it, describe the true card country and unresolved error before any platform accepts it for review.

If Google says the code is invalid
