The country board on our eBay rate page supplies that figure. Other sections show ₦91,200, calculated from the rounded ₦912-per-dollar display. The difference is ₦20. Neither figure is a fresh quote.
The page also shows conflicting e-code amounts in different sections. We cannot establish a reliable digital-card estimate from it, so the physical-card record above should not be used for an e-code. No current e-code price is confirmed here.
Can eBay pay the $100 into a Nigerian bank account?
eBay’s gift card terms say cards cannot be resold and are not redeemable for cash except where the law requires it. Cards obtained through unauthorized resellers are not valid under those terms. There is no routine bank-withdrawal option established by a Naira price listing.
The same terms restrict redemption to the US or its territories and require a US shipping address for purchases. They also reserve the right to block attempts to bypass the shipping rule through freight forwarding. A US card sent to someone in Nigeria therefore needs more scrutiny than a dollar-to-Naira calculation.
These are restrictions on using the card, not fees to subtract from ₦91,180. Paying somebody a “region unlock” charge does not change them.
What if you spent $20 and still have $80 left?
If you use a $100 card for a $20 purchase, the arithmetic leaves $80, but that does not create a new, transferable $80 gift card.
According to eBay’s gift card help, first use links the card to the buyer’s account. Any remainder can be spent only through that account. A balance screenshot shows an amount; it does not establish that another person can redeem it.
Do not hand over an account login to make the balance “transferable.” If the code reports that it has already been redeemed, follow the already-redeemed troubleshooting guide and contact eBay through its official support channel.
What to keep before seeking help
Keep the purchase receipt, the original card or delivery email, and the exact error message. Record whether you added the card to an account or used it at checkout. That history is more useful for explaining a problem than a screenshot of an old market price.
